About Andrea Berry

Andrea Berry is a passionate photographer and visual storyteller dedicated to capturing the world through a lens of authenticity, connection, hope, and renewal.

Born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, Andrea developed an appreciation for creativity and storytelling from an early age, influenced by her love of faith, music, art, history, sports, and the people and communities around her.

She graduated from Fredericton High School in 1996 and continued her education in the Arts Program at St. Thomas University. More recently, Andrea earned her CPP Certificate in Professional Photography from the Canadian School of Photography in Toronto.

Through her photography, Andrea strives to capture more than simply how a moment looks—she wants to preserve how it feels. Whether photographing people, live events, communities, wildlife, or the world around her, her approach is rooted in authenticity and storytelling. She believes some of the most powerful photographs are those that reveal emotion, resilience, relationships, and the stories that might otherwise go unseen.

Andrea’s passion for creating positive change extends beyond her work behind the camera. She is proud to serve as the International Liaison Officer for CAMT-Kenya Christian Ministries, an organization working with rescued children and young people in Embu, Kenya. What began as a partnership centred on encouragement, empowerment, and photography has grown into an official leadership role, allowing Andrea to further support the ministry’s work and help strengthen connections internationally.

Through her work with CAMT-Kenya Christian Ministries, Andrea helps empower and encourage young people as potential agents of change within their communities, supporting the development of confidence, creativity, and new skills. As part of this work, she also teaches photography, using the camera as a way for young people to explore their creativity, develop their voices, and see their world from a new perspective.

Andrea is also a strong advocate for health, wellness, recovery, and community support. She is passionate about encouraging individuals who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, addiction, and mental health challenges. Her charitable involvement and support have included organizations and initiatives such as the CIBC Run for the Cure, MADD Canada, World Vision, the WE Believe Campaign, the IWK Health Centre, and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

When Andrea isn’t behind the camera, she enjoys healthy living, fitness, creativity, and making meaningful connections with others.

Looking toward the future, Andrea’s vision is to continue growing as a photographer and storyteller while using photography as a way to bring people together—to uplift, encourage, motivate, and inspire. Above all, she hopes her photographs tell meaningful stories of hope, resilience, connection, and renewal.

For Andrea, photography isn’t simply about documenting a moment. It’s about creating an image that allows that moment—and the story behind it—to continue speaking long after the shutter has been pressed.
